Which Course is Right for Me?
The Basic RiderCourse (BRC)
If you have never ridden before or it has been awhile since you were last on a motorcycle, this 2-day course is the place to start. Successful completion of the course will get you a motorcycle endorsement on your license. You do not need to have a motorcycle permit before taking the Basic Rider Course; just a valid driver's license or driver's permit and the ability to balance on a bicycle. Motorcycles and helmets are included in the cost of the class.

If you already know the basics of riding and ride regularly, this 1-day class is for you. You are encouraged but not required to bring your own street-legal motorcycle, otherwise one will be provided at no additional cost. Motorcycles and helmets are included in the cost of the class. Successful completion will get you a motorcycle endorsement on your license. You do not need to have a motorcycle permit before taking the BRC2; just a valid driver's license or driver's permit.Â
